Getting started with LensPath
A quick tour of installing LensPath and getting your first location live. Full guides are on the way — contact support any time you’re stuck.
1. Install the app
Install LensPath from the Shopify App Store. Approve the requested permissions, and your 14-day free trial starts automatically. LensPath never handles your payment-card details — billing runs through Shopify.
2. Add your locations
In the LensPath admin panel, add each store/branch you operate. Your plan tier is based on the number of locations: Starter covers one, Pro up to five, and Enterprise is unlimited. Each location carries its own lens pricing, bookings and settings.
3. Configure lens pricing
Set the lens types, refractive indexes and coatings you offer, with a price for each component. Shoppers’ selections in the configurator are itemised and priced from these rules, then added to cart.
4. Set frame eligibility
Choose which frames support prescription lenses. Eligible products show the configurator; others stay as standard purchases.
5. Enable eye-test booking
Turn on the booking flow so shoppers without a current prescription can request an in-store eye test. They pick a branch and time and leave their contact details; you’ll receive the booking in the admin panel, and the shopper gets an email confirmation.
6. Go live
Add the LensPath widget to your theme, preview it on a product page, and publish. You’re ready to capture both the online lens sale and the in-store booking.
